Chiwi Jobs Limited was founded in 2012 in order to help clients find talented people in innovative and cost-effective ways, and to help candidates identify their own unique talents and translate them into a successful career.

Chiwi Jobs is a niche recruitment company which specialises in placing people of Chinese origin into professional jobs in New Zealand. We have cross-cultural expertise in China and New Zealand. Our Team

Christine Tao (Director & Founder)

Before starting Chiwi Jobs Limited, Christine worked at KVB Kunlun New Zealand Limited as Human Resource Manager, with responsibility for Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne.
 
Earlier, Christine spent many years in HR management in the financial services industry in Shanghai, China. She worked at ABN AMRO Bank, Shanghai Branch as HR Manager, and BOCI China Group (the investment bank in the Bank of China group) as the Vice President of the HR Department.

Christine is a native of Shanghai, China and immigrated to New Zealand in 2003. She received her B.A. in English literature from Shanghai International Studies University and earned an MBA at the Norwegian School of Management, Oslo, Norway.


Nicole Wu (Senior HR Consultant)

Nicole Wu is an all-round consultant in human resource management. She has 25 years of experience working as a human resource executive for leading multinational companies, including FedEx, ANZ, Inter-Continental Hotel, Aviva Life, Newegg e-Retailer, and Baker McKenzie law firm.


Nicole previously managed an international HR consulting firm. She specialises in corporate culture development, employer branding, training and development, performance management, and organisational change.

Nicole holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and a master's degree from the University of Florida. In 2000, she studied a doctoral program in Internet Marketing at AUT. She is fluent in English and Chinese, with basic Japanese. She was an EMBA lecturer at an American university and certified as a facilitator of Behavioural Interviewing Skills and DDI Executive Training.
