Our client is one of the world’s leading video surveillance products and solutions companies.  It specializes in video surveillance technology, as well as designing and manufacturing a full line of innovative CCTV and video surveillance products. The product line ranges from cameras and DVRs to video management software.

The client is seeking a Channel Account Manager with broad responsibility to grow business in cooperating with distributors and partners for managing their orders, sales and stock etc.  The client will provide competitive compensation and a bonus scheme, and professional product training upon commencing in the role.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships in New Zealand and Pacific Islands markets, expand sales channels
  • Manage distributors’ sell in & sell out & sell through work, provide assistance on distributor business development and market promotion, enabling sales growth
  • Assist distributors with the order process, enquires and problem solving to continuously improve customer satisfaction
  • Perceive changing market trends, collect competitor information, identify business opportunities and risk, develop and implement strategy accordingly
  • Achieve sales targets
  • National travel will be required.



  • Bachelor’s degree or above with engineering background, New Zealand citizenship or PR
  • At least 2 years’ working in security, IT or telecommunication industry in a technical or sales role
  • Know security technology and products well, have strong presentation and demonstration skills
  • Prefer relevant experience on channel management and new channel development
  • Strong self-learning ability, ability to adapt to a highly intensive working environment
  • Pursue excellence, be honest and self-driven, and embrace change
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English essential
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Good negotiation and persuasive skills.
  • Excellent listening, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure
  • Pay attention to detail
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce and related technologies.
