The Opportunity:

A reputable franchised cafe is seeking a Chef. This franchise owns over 60 cafes and restaurants throughout New Zealand. They provide "Good Food, Great Service and Excellent Coffee".

Duties:

• Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
• Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
• Monitor equipment quality
• Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
• Train new kitchen staff

Ideal candidates would:

• Savvy with food hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen
• Be passionate about food and self-motivated
• A team player
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Be able to work flexible hours including weekends

All candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
