About the Company:

Our client is a fast-growing Australian-owned FX payments company, which aims to provide efficient, inexpensive payment services to SMEs and Corporate clients. The company has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland and they are currently looking to expand into Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to FX payment services, they also provide tailor-made FX Risk Management solutions to their wholesale clients.

About the Role:

Due to rapid growth within the business, they are actively looking for an experienced Corporate FX Dealer / Account Manager to join their Auckland office. This role will suit a result-driven professional experienced in working with SMEs and corporate clients requiring efficient and effective FX payment solutions and services.  This is a hybrid sales / dealing role where you will be able to utilise your sales skills and experience as a relationship manager.


  • Work closely with existing SMEs and corporate clients and manage their accounts
  • Help identify and contact prospective customers, understand clients' unique business models, build rapport and maintain a high service level and business relationships with clients
  • Add value to the clients by demonstrating a high level of knowledge of the FX market through updates on market news, discussing strategies and assisting in managing their business FX exposure and cash flow
  • Process global payments for clients and ensure all booked transactions are accurately entered
  • Identify effective solutions and opportunities that work in the best interest of clients
  • Manage complex discussions with key senior stakeholders of companies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passionate about global financial markets and FX
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in foreign exchange or finance industry
  • Effective client engagement and negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge of account management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Good knowledge of FX products including options and risk management process
  • Cope well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to achieve targets
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or related field.
