Mix of working from our client’s office in Palmerston North and from home – this is a 40 hour per week opportunity Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Our client does require candidates to be located near the Palmerston North office to attend training for the first 4 weeks, team meetings and ongoing training days when required.


About The Company

Our client is one of NZ’s biggest companies which owns New World, Gilmours, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square. Its Customer Service Team all play a vital role in supporting the company’s network of 330+ stores across the North Island.

 

About the role

These roles focus on building and retaining relationships with the company’s valued customers, ensuring an exceptional and professional level of customer service is provided in a timely manner. You will be the voice of the business and need to be able to problem solve as you go!

Your day will involve answering internal/external customer queries and phone calls, ensuring that all calls, queries, complaints and inquiries are investigated and logged in the Customer Relationship Management System, generating referrals to the appropriate store or business unit where appropriate and making outbound calls to both internal and external customers.

 

About you

This opportunity will require you to think on your feet and problem solve so you will be a quick learner, have excellent customer service focus and previous experience in a contact centre environment with the ability to work unsupervised.

You must be fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese or Cambodian and English both verbal and written, and if you have previous hospitality experience this would be ideal.

Familiar with SAP and Microsoft Office products, previous experience using WeChat and sales experience will be preferred.

You may have worked in a similar environment or be looking to enter the customer service field where you can utilise your fantastic phone manner, and excellent interactive and written communication skills.
