The Opportunity:

A reputable franchised cafe is urgently seeking a Front of House staff member to join their team in Westfield Newmarket. This franchise owns over 60 cafes and restaurants throughout New Zealand. They provide "Good Food, Great Service and Excellent Coffee".

Duties:

• Providing exceptional and consistent customer service with a smile
• Taking orders and communicating with the team and kitchen to ensure a smoothly run cafe and great outcomes for customer satisfaction
• Delivering high quality coffee, drink and food to customers
• General hospitality duties.

Ideal candidates would:

• Have relevant experience in cafe or restaurant - required
• Barista experience is an advantage
• Be extroverted and customer-oriented
• Have a good knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety in the kitchen
• Be a great team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Be able to work flexible hours including weekends
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
