About the Role:

To promote their robot products in Australia, our client is seeking a Product Pre-sales Engineer with strong competency at promoting the company's products and solutions to corporate clients. This opportunity will suit energetic and autonomous technical engineers with fast-learning ability and excellent presentation and communication skills.

Duties:

  • Responsible for pre-sales support of products and solutions, assisting sales by researching and analysing customer needs, writing technical solution proposals and bids, explaining technical solutions, demonstrating products and answering technical inquiries;
  • Assist sales by promoting and selling products and solutions;
  • Provide timely feedback of customer's opinions on products and technologies to the technical department;
  • Define customer requirements to facilitate the design of appropriate solutions;
  • Conduct relevant technical training for internal sales and pre-sales as well as external partners.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; computer, automatization or logistics management majors are preferred
  • Preferably over 3 years' relevant experience in logistics automation, e-commerce, ERP-WMS solutions design, technical consulting or project bidding
  • Capable of analyzing the requirements and providing solutions in production logistics, manufacturing warehousing, e-commerce and related IT systems;
  • A good working knowledge of IT tools/software
  • Stay up to date with new products and technology
  • Be able to manage business requests and challenges
  • Ability to establish and develop customer relationships
  • Work independently while being able to coordinate resources
  • Outstanding technical communication, demonstration and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Willing to travel
  • Understanding and respect of cultural difference and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
