Sales / Senior Sales Consultant (Mandarin Speaking)

Trade Depot is one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing trade and home improvement retailers. We are looking for motivated Sales and Senior Sales Consultants who can communicate confidently in Mandarin and English to support our expanding Auckland showroom.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service or sales backgrounds — whether you are an experienced sales professional or ready to step up into a senior role.
About the Role
You will play an important part in supporting retail and trade customers, maintaining showroom standards, and helping drive sales across a wide range of product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers across interiors, hardware, kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, and furniture
- Provide excellent customer service to both retail and trade clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and commercial customers
- Maintain merchandising, stock presentation, and showroom standards
- Support daily operations, KPIs, and sales targets
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment
- Communicate clearly with customers in Mandarin and English
What We’re Looking For
- Sales or customer service experience (senior-level experience is a bonus)
- Strong communication in Mandarin and English
- Confidence working in a busy showroom environment
- Ability to engage with both retail and trade customers
- Good teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Interest in home improvement, interiors, or hardware products (advantage)
