Our client is one of the world’s leading video surveillance products and solutions companies. It specializes in video surveillance technology, as well as designing and manufacturing a full line of innovative CCTV and video surveillance products. The product line ranges from cameras and DVRs to video management software. Due to rapid growth in New Zealand, our client is seeking a national Vertical Business Development Manager with broad responsibility to grow business in defined vertical potential clients in various industries. This opportunity will suit an energetic and strategic thinker with clear vision and solid industry knowledge and networking and excellent communication skills.


Your responsibilities will include:

- Strategic brainstorming and implementation of developing new business in the defined vertical industries.

- Building strong partnerships with targeted industry consultants and partners to promote IoT solution values.

- Driving key initiatives in identifying opportunities and holding a continuous improvement mindset to optimize products and solutions to meet market needs.

- Presenting and promoting the company technology and solutions at targeted events, or via workshops, webinars, etc.

- Driving Proofs of Concept and write tenders and submissions.

 

You will need:

- Over 5 years of experience in an industrial-related technical or BDM role.

- Profound knowledge of security-related products and technology and be willing to learn new knowledge and skills as required.

- Solid understanding of target market segments.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and time management skills.

- Strong background in negotiation, tendering and estimating.

- Creative problem-solving and sound analyzing skills to make commercially viable decisions.

- Have a strong ability to build up high-trust partnerships with customers and meet customer needs as priority.
