It has developed its business at a fast pace, achieved good market share and successfully built up its brand recognition in the Australian market.

The client has established a thermal imaging subsidiary. Inheriting a strong R&D team, it has professional know-how and engineering resources dedicated to providing its partners with state-of-art, best quality products. The client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager who has strong experience in developing the Infrared Thermography market by approaching and building solid relationships with wholesalers, service companies and end users.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the infrared thermography market;
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys;
  • Find potential business opportunities and business growth points;
  • Approach and establish new, solid and long-term relationships with wholesalers, service companies and end users;
  • Present solutions to potential customers;
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • Work closely with colleagues in the regional sales team;
  • Undertake lobbying of associations and interest groups;
  • Assist consultants to specify projects, and position the company’s product as the preferred product for consultants;
  • Prepare reports required by management.


  • Experience and deep understanding of the infrared thermography market
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
  • Highly motivated and target-oriented
  • Great business sense and desire to be part of a winning culture
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Solid in Microsoft Office and related technologies
  • Being open minded to work in a multi-cultural company
  • Willingness to travel.
